DHAKA — After months of prolonged delays and frustration, a deal has now been agreed between the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh garment employers’ association (BGMEA) to ensure a transition period of almost one year.
This comes a matter of days after the Accord and BGMEA were able to agree terms in principle on a handover arrangement to the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC).
