Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) is seeking a Senior Content Manager to develop new and update existing content and thereby help enhance GFA’s thought leadership position as the world’s foremost leadership forum on sustainability in fashion. 

We are looking for a driven individual who can help us provide guidance to the fashion industry on how to become more sustainable. The right candidate will focus on shaping GFA’s key publications the Pulse of the Fashion Industry report and the CEO Agenda and take part in driving our industry commitments. As Senior Content Manager, you will report to the Chief Sustainability Officer and be part of the GFA content team. 

Major responsibilities include:

• Co-author, research and conduct interviews for the Pulse of the Fashion Industry report

• Update the annual CEO Agenda based on new best practices and industry developments

• Proactively monitor the stakeholder landscape to identify and address key initiatives with potential relevance for the CEO Agenda

• Coordinate existing and new industry commitments incl. developing toolboxes, helping with target setting for signatories and status report writing

• External representation at international meetings and events of strategic relevance

• Seek and support relationship-building with a broad range of stakeholders including brands and retailers, government officials, trade associations, NGOs and other key influential organisations to scan for new trends and opportunities. 

The ideal candidate has

• A minimum of 5 years of experience f rom working within sustainability and fashion

• Fluent English skills (speaking and writing) – additional languages are a plus

• Excellent writing skills – experience in writing reports and writing about sustainability is an advantage

• Excellent social skills to interact and engage with external stakeholders being diplomatic, energetic and convincing with great attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Confidence in leading a constructive dialogue, arguing about specific sustainability issues and guiding on important topics

• Expert knowledge of sustainability issues in the fashion industry or other related industries and ability to communicate this knowledge in a concise and easily understood manner

• Interest in working in a fast pace, dynamic, challenging and team-oriented work environment.
