VANCOUVER - The Organic Trade Association’s Fibre Council is to focus on organic supply chain integrity and best labelling practices for organic textiles when it participates in the 2019 Textile Sustainability Conference.

The Fibre Council, which is made up of association member companies in the organic fibre supply chain, including farmers, manufacturers, certifiers, researchers and retailers, said its aim was to enhance consumer trust in the organic label.

Its will be promoting the Organic Trade Association’s recently adopted ‘Best Labelling Practices for Textiles’ and its new groundbreaking ‘Organic Fraud Prevention Solutions’ program in which organic businesses can now voluntarily enroll.
