AMSTERDAM – Netherlands-based sustainable fashion initiative Fashion for Good (FFG) has issued a call to arms to industry stakeholders and investment groups, noting “the amount of capital available in the textile innovation space is still small in comparison to the magnitude of the problem.”
Recognised for its work to scale up burgeoning innovators with sustainable solutions, FFG has called on its industry peers to consider the benefits new disruptive solutions could hold in combatting their own environmental impact.
“The good news is that many viable solutions exist. Fashion for Good has identified over 1,500 innovators, each developing much needed innovation applicable to this industry,” the organisation says.
