AYRSHIRE - Italian online fashion retailer Yoox Net-a-Porter has linked up with Prince Charles to launch a new project which gives students from the UK and Italy the chance to help design a sustainable fashion line.

The Modern Artisan project is a new textiles skills training initiative which gives the students the opportunity to work on a new clothing collection. The Prince of Wales, who has championed action for a sustainable future for more than four decades, is involved through his charity The Prince’s Foundation.

Launching next year, the collection will be sold across all four of the firm's brands - Yoox, Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter and The Outnet - with profits donated to The Prince's Foundation.
