GREENSBORO - Sustainable yarn manufacturer Unifi Inc is set to introduce new developments in its range of fibres recycled from ocean plastic waste at the 2020 Outdoor + Snow Show in Denver.
The company, which bills itself as one of the world's leading innovators in recycled and synthetic yarns, says the new additions, are consistent with meeting both sustainability and performance demands.
Its new Repreve cationic-dyeable polyester is said to offer deeper and brighter colours, as well as improved colourfastness, and can be used in a variety of constructions and across all market segments, from woven to knit to warp knit.
