BRUSSELS - The largest study ever carried out on corporate sustainability reporting has concluded that too many companies do not fulfil their obligations to provide enough information to disclose their impacts on society and environment.

The Alliance for Corporate Transparency project, initiated and led by law firm Frank Bold, studied the sustainability reports submitted by 1,000 companies under the EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive.

They included 110 apparel and textiles companies such as Adidas, Asos, Benetton, Bestseller, Boohoo, C&A, Decathlon, H&M, Hermes, Hugo Boss, Inditex, Louis Vuitton, Mango, M&S, New Look, Prada, Puma, Ted Baker and Zalando.
