Location:  Bristol UK with some UK and international travel

Fixed term 18 months – 37.5 or 30 hours per week

The Role is to lead the growth of our organic beauty and fashion / textiles business through leading the team to grow the market and make sure the organic benefits are clear, supporting clients to grow and attracting new businesses to organic. You’ll be leading the certification teams to support those our clients through the process and provide best in class customer service. It’s a wide-ranging role, both strategic and operational with lots of stakeholder management and engagement.

About us

We are the UK’s largest organic certification body, responsible for certifying over 70% of all organic products sold in the country. We certify organic food and farming, organic textiles and organic beauty products as well. We work to grow the market for the certified products alongside the businesses we certify as a fast-growing market achieves change.

About the opportunity

Organic is growing; last year saw the eighth consecutive year of sustained growth and the largest ever market size. More and more businesses are looking to go organic and produce products that can be certified to organic standards and more shoppers are looking to make planet centric choices and choose organic. The organic beauty and fashion / textiles sectors are growing faster than the overall market and are a great entry point for conscious consumers into organic. We’re looking for someone to lead the growth and development of these exciting sectors supporting businesses to become certified with Soil Association Certification and making sure shoppers know the benefits of choosing organic.
