ST. GALLEN – Bluesign has released new criteria for environmental impact reduction, following close consultations with various industry stakeholders.
Last September the Swiss firm announced that it would work with brands, NGOs, chemical suppliers and consultants in the sector to “align expectations” in its latest revisions.
“The end result is an expansion and deepening of our requirements as well as the harmonising of them with trends and tendencies in the textile supply chain and other institutions,” said Maren Herter, research and development expert for Bluesign.
