LONDON - The Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) research body is urging the UK government's influential Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) to put fashion back on the agenda of subjects it is planning to investigate.

Professor Dilys Williams, the director of the CSF, is unhappy that fashion is not included in a list of topics which the EAC is considering looking at during the first year of the new parliament.

A 2018 EAC inquiry into fashion, chaired by Mary Creagh MP, led to last year's report, Fixing Fashion: Clothing Consumption and Sustainability, which made a number of radical proposals all of which were rejected by the government.
