TAKEO – Around 30 garment workers have been injured in Cambodia, after the truck they were travelling in flipped over at high speed due to a steering wheel malfunction.
This comes less than two months after Cambodia’s Council of Ministers vowed to do more to mitigate traffic accidents, as recent figures from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) flagged up that there were more than 1,550 cases involving garment workers last year.
