NEW ALBANY – Apparel companies Abercrombie & Fitch and Reebok are the latest to partner with resale platform ThredUp, as they vie to capitalise on growing consumer interest in second-hand garments.

Customers of Abercrombie & Fitch can now turn in unwanted clothing online, similarly at Hollister's website, and are incentivised to do so with shopping credit that is boosted by an additional 15 per cent payout bonus. Shoppers at Reebok can alternatively exchange apparel for points that are redeemed under the sportswear firm’s loyalty programme.
