LONDON: The British Fashion Council and the Council of Fashion Designers of America have issued a joint call for an industry reset after the current coronavirus pandemic.

They say fast fashion needs to slow down and are calling on brands and retailers to focus on just two main seasonal collections a year, instead of changing stock constantly.

"We encourage our brands, designers and retailers, who are used to fashion’s fast, unforgiving pace, to slow down," they say in the joint statement.
