ZUG - The Laudes Foundation is to commission an independent review of its funding of the ZDHC Foundation which oversees the Roadmap to Zero programme to replace potentially harmful chemicals in the fashion and textiles industry.

The Laudes Foundation, the successor organisation to the C&A Foundation, is seeking expert consultants to carry out the review of the €1,757,000 (US$1,975,000) four year core support grant it has agreed to give the ZDHC until 2022.

A detailed brief to potential consultants says that the review will be expected to assess whether or not the grant is meeting its goals, document "missed opportunities", and provide a focused set of lessons for the future.
