BANBURY - British households are poised to dispose of 67 million items of clothing once lockdown has been lifted, according to UK waste recycling charity WRAP.

A new survey by WRAP suggests that two in five Brits (41 per cent) had a clothing clear-out during lockdown and most are storing items to donate to charities.

The organisation has published its findings to help the charitable sector, local authorities and recyclers prepare for the expected influx of textiles.
