BOENNIGHEIM/CHARLOTTESVILLE – Textile testing company Hohenstein and chemical management experts Scivera have linked up to streamline the process for chemical suppliers to assess and validate preferred chemicals for apparel, footwear and home textiles.
The collaboration integrates software, certification and analytical testing to enable suppliers to verify and proactively improve formulations to ZDHC MRSL conformance level 3 and beyond.
The two companies say that brands acting to move beyond MRSL compliance, such as Levi Strauss & Co, will benefit from help in meeting ZDHC goals along with verified greener chemistries they can trust.
