HENAN - The IPE (Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs) environmental non-profit has accused a Chinese textile company of making false statements about environmental violations.
Henan Xinye Textile Co Ltd was one of two case studies published by IPE to highlight that many Chinese companies were failing to meet new requirements on environmental information disclosure which come into force this year.
"Given the approaching deadline, IPE and environmental group Lvse Jiangnan embarked on doing a status check on where the listed companies are on environmental information disclosure," said an IPE statement.
