GENEVA – The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) has established a new chain of custody advisory group comprising member and non-member brands, manufacturers and civil society organisations, which will work to ensure new chain of custody developments are commercially viable and attractive to stakeholders.
The BCI Chain of Custody framework meets demand with supply and helps incentivise cotton farmers to adopt sustainable practices. The organisation’s supply chain integrity manager, Joyce Lam, said: “We are excited to work together to help shape the future of the Better Cotton Chain of Custody.”
