NEW DELHI – The organisers of Lakme Fashion Week in India have announced plans to host a sustainable fashion boot camp for one day of the upcoming event, which will connect six aspiring start-ups with industry experts.
Through the Circular Changemakers programme, innovators with sustainable material solutions and waste management technologies will be given guidance on raising capital and investor pitch development as to better equip them for future business enquiries.
Darshana Gajare, lead of sustainable fashion at IMG Reliance, says: “Circular Changemakers is our commitment to provide a platform for upcoming brands and start-ups working tirelessly towards making fashion and textiles a cleaner business.”
