HONG KONG - Environmental charity Redress has announced the winners of the 2020 Redress Design Award which is billed as the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition.

Grand final winners of the competition, which was held online this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, were menswear designer Le Ngoc Ha Thu from Vietnam and womenswear designer Juliana Garcia Bello of Argentina.

They beat off competition from hundreds of applicants from 48 countries to win sustainable design collaboration prizes with VF Corporation’s Timberland brand and award-winning upcycled brand, The R Collective, respectively.
