MIDDLESBOROUGH – UK sportswear brand Presca says it hopes to revolutionise the market as it kick-starts a project which will vie to create fully circular performance apparel.
Having secured funding, Presca, along with Poseidon Plastics and a team at Teesside University, aims to scale production for what it’s calling the ‘Forever Tee’ – a synthetic top made from recyclable clear plastic bottles and other “challenging” waste products.
Rob Webbon, CEO of Presca, says: "Creating a circular approach for our full range has always been our ultimate ambition and is essential to continuing our sustainability journey.”
