LONDON – The Laudes Foundation has forged partnerships with both the Council on Economic Policies (CEP) and the New Economics Foundation (NEF), and will free up €5.5 million to accelerate a push towards a more inclusive and regenerative economy.
Part of its COVID-19 response, the Laudes Foundation has kick-started these collaborations with the ambition of integrating environmental sustainability into the role of central banks.
“COVID-19 and the climate and ecological crises demand systemic change, not small shifts in the right direction,” says the Foundation’s director of finance and capital market transformation, Kelly Clark. “Working with NEF and CEP, allows us to work through existing coalitions to make a compelling case for economic transformation and in turn, to use that momentum and evidence base to influence policy makers, politicians and businesses to value people and planet alongside profit.”
