STOCKHOLM - Swedish menswear brand Asket is introducing a new kind of itemised receipt to reveal the environmental impact of its garments in a bid to persuade customers to buy fewer of them.

Called the Impact Receipt, it will detail the impact of every garment in the 'slow fashion' company's permanent collection, including CO2 emitted, water used and energy consumed during production.

The initiative is the result of a two-year Life Cycle Assessment by the Swedish Research Institute (RISE) to determine each garment's environmental impact.
