TAIPEI - Taiwanese PET recycler Saya is to launch a new fibre made with recycled cutting scrap and fabric, to complement its range of fibres made from recycled plastic bottles.

Called Saya Next, it seeks to provide solutions for the textile industry's waste problem by recycling scrap, cutting waste, overstock fabric and eventually, used garments.

The company, which is owned by Nan Ya Plastics, the world’s largest manufacturer of recycled PET, says its focus is on bringing sustainable new options to the textile industry.
