NEW YORK – The Glasgow Caledonian New York College (GCNYC) has announced the inception of a new Master of Science in Sustainable Fashion education programme, which it says will provide the “fresh vision needed to steer the fashion industry toward a stable, prosperous future in line with the needs of the planet”.
The College says it will develop a research-based curriculum that will equip students with the skills quintessential to top-level positions of influence within the fashion industry.
Tommaso Rulli, founder and CEO of MTI – a textile sourcing platform and partner of GCNYC – commented: “Now more than ever, the fashion industry needs a leadership programme focused on sustainability. I am honoured to be part of this initiative, connecting students with industry professionals.”
