LONDON – The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is urging consumers to donate the items they’ll likely replace this upcoming Black Friday, as it looks to reinforce its resale collection – the proceeds for which help fund vital scientific research.

From November 27th, businesses across industry will slash their prices as part of the ritual Black Friday event. In the weeks leading up to this, recognising that consumers will likely gorge on discounted goods, BHF wants people to use its free postal offering to donate any unwanted stock – whether it be clothing, furniture or electronics – as this year’s lockdowns have set the charity back by upwards of £50 million in funding.
