AUCKLAND – Outdoor apparel brand Icebreaker, a VF Corp company, has announced the launch of a new initiative that will run throughout December, which commits the firm to planting one tree in the wildfire-stricken states of California and Colorado each time a customer purchase is made via its website.
“2020 has been a difficult year for the entire world, our environment not excluded,” says Cameron Walker, GM and VP of icebreaker North America. “We’ve seen catastrophic damage all across the globe as a direct result of climate change. This holiday season, we wanted to give back to those areas most affected while hoping to inspire others to take care of the planet as well.”
