LONDON – Sustainable sourcing platform Supply Compass has updated its online services to enable fashion brands and retailers to invite and onboard their supply chain partners onto the system, which it says will improve communications across business networks and accelerate speed to market.

Whilst retaining the ability to explore Supply Compass’ database of verified suppliers, customers can now leverage the platform to easily communicate with partners in order to discuss plans and address bottlenecks in the supply chain.

“We’ve seen first-hand the problems facing the fashion industry, but 2020 just skyrocketed these,” said Supply Compass CEO and co-founder, Gus Bartholomew. “As we’re in a unique position at SupplyCompass — bridging the gap between brands and manufacturers — we knew we had to act fast and provide better software for fashion production. This meant opening our platform up for brands to bring on board their own factories, facilitating collaboration and strengthening existing partnerships.”
