NEW YORK – Accelerating Circularity has bagged a US$1.2 million research grant from the Walmart Foundation to explore circular textile-to-textile systems generated from fabric waste on the East Coast of the USA.
The award follows on from the industry project’s research last year on spent textiles, collectors, sorters, pre-processors and recyclers which identified various opportunities and gaps to create improved circular business models.
