PARIS – Industry association Paris Good Fashion has analysed the results of a public consultation into responsible fashion it held in September, and says consumer demand for more sustainability-oriented services is high in France.

More than 107,000 people completed the survey, with many reportedly alluding to the need for more robust recycling services and second-hand fashion platforms in the country.

Based on the feedback, France’s Ministry of Ecological Transition, alongside authorities in Paris, have outlined commitments which it’s challenged domestic brands to align with. The likes of Galeries Lafayette, Etam Group and La Redoute are amongst those that have pledged their support for the transition.
