NEW YORK – Fashion designer Christian Siriano demonstrated his advocacy for second-hand fashion by revamping some of the items his label sells on popular resale platform ThredUp for last month’s New York Fashion Week (NYFW).

In December, Siriano partnered with ThredUp to establish ‘Thrift’, a universal symbol for pre-owned apparel, and said: “I hope this logo inspires people to extend the life of their clothes and gives the sustainable fashion movement a louder voice to grow.”

The garments showcased at what was a digitised format of NYFW included dresses and a coat, each of which were for the first time adorned with the Thrift logo.
