PHNOM PENH – Cambodia’s government has included garment workers amongst the list of priority groups to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, and has tasked native organisations including the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC) to support a streamlined rollout campaign.
A representative of each factory is being asked to put their name forward to receive training on administering the jab before the 26th March, after which it’s expected that manufacturing sites will be rearranged to host rounds of vaccinations.
