BOSTON – Sportswear company New Balance is to trial a reusable packaging system as it looks to cut out single-use items from its supply chain.
The Boston brand has partnered with packaging firm Returnity Innovations to sample its solution, through which sports uniforms will be transported in reusable bags treated with an antimicrobial finish to meet best hygiene practices.
“Partnering with Returnity and utilising their products has elevated the sampling experience for our customers, helped us decrease our waste and increase our work efficiency, a winning combination,” said David Chaney, New Balance Team Sports sales manager.
