HERZOGENAURACH – German sportswear giant Puma has announced that by 2025, nine out of ten products across its entire portfolio will be made from more ‘sustainable’ materials.

The company is targeting gains in the department of recyclable materials, in particular with polyester, and has joined global non-profit Textile Exchange’s Recycled Polyester Challenge to help realise this ambition.

“We will continue to push hard to live up to our mission statement of being ‘Forever Better’,” said Puma’s head of corporate sustainability, Stefan Seidel.
