AMSTERDAM – Global sustainability organisation Fashion for Good (FFG) has welcomed six young creatives to its ‘Grow’ talent project, a three-month programme that’ll allow the aspiring professionals the opportunity to develop ‘sustainable’ garments using biomaterials.
The selected few were chosen from a pool of more than 100 applicants, which were whittled down by a jury of creative professionals and FFG managing director, Katrin Ley.
Ley commented: “It’s important to test and investigate the properties of these materials that will drive change and have a positive impact on the industry. We’re extremely excited to have the talents experiment and test these biomaterials, and to see the unique creations they will realise through this project.”
