AMSTERDAM - The Dutch Agreement on Sustainable Garments and Textile (AGT) has clarified what it expects of participating garments and textile companies in terms of responsible business conduct.

It includes guidance on helping companies to take steps to bridge the gap between the minimum wage and the living wage for the supply chain workers who make their products.

The Dutch Agreement brings together companies, trade associations, unions, NGOs and the government with the aim of promoting responsible business conduct in clothing and textile supply chains.
