GLENDALE — Garment label manufacturer Avery Dennison has teamed up with LA-based garment recycler Ambercycle to launch a new digital care label which aims to increase circularity.

The label features a QR code that links to an app which details how that specific garment was produced, how it should be cared for and ultimately disposed of so that it can be recycled.

It allows for traceability and transparency across the supply chain, and can provide new digital revenue streams for brands as additional products can be marketed to consumers via the app.
