DALLAS – US department store chain Neiman Marcus has vowed to stop selling any products containing animal fur by early 2023.
The announcement also covers Bergdorf Goodman stores, which are also owned by the Neiman Marcus Group (NMG), and will involve the shutting down of 22 'fur salons'.
The new policy follows the company’s announcement in April that it had created an Environment Social Governance (ESG) team to support its sustainability ambitions.
