BRISBANE – Australian jeanswear brand Outland Denim says it has reached a breakthrough in its supply chain traceability, and can now track the entirety of its products’ journeys from cotton seed to consumer.

It follows progress reported in the brand’s 2020 Sustainability Report, which said 100 per cent traceability had been achieved in “most stages” of its production network.

Focus has since turned to the sourcing stages of its supply chain, through which it can now trace cotton at farm-level and as it goes through the ginning, spinning and dyeing processes.
