GRIMSBY – Austrian fibre manufacturer The Lenzing Group is to invest £20 million (US$27.5m) in a new wastewater treatment plant at its site in Grimsby, England.  

The investment supports Lenzing’s target of reducing wastewater emissions by 2022.  

Phil Munson, director of operations at Lyocell Grimsby, noted: “This is a huge step forward in delivering the overall Lenzing strategic goals and a milestone in our long-term plan to give the Grimsby site a solid platform for sustainable growth.”
