MANCHESTER – Fast fashion brand Boohoo is offering a group of customers a behind-the-scenes look at its supplier factories, in a bid to highlight the improvements it claims have been made over the past year.

“We are committed to transparency and this initiative is another demonstration of this. We are proud of the work we have done in the UK and we want the opportunity to showcase it,” said CEO John Lyttle.

It comes just weeks after fresh allegations of exploitation surfaced in Leicester, with a woman who claims to be a worker stating that staff are required to return a portion of their wage to the factory.
