LONDON – The Open Apparel Registry (OAR), a database of global garment manufacturing facilities, has published a report detailing its progression since launching in 2019, in a bid to share its work with data and attract potential partners.

The open-source tool has grown its network from just 8,000 sites around the world to more than 64,000, thanks to collaboration with brands and industry organisations.

Looking ahead, it’s set its sights on expanding the range of services its platform offers, working with partners to ensure their needs are met and ultimately growing the registry further to better represent the global industry.
