BENTONVILLE - Retail giant Walmart has linked up with underwear manufacturer Gelmart to launch what it claims is the world's first plant-based bra.
Made of more than 80 per cent Brazilian-sourced sugarcane, as well as recycled nylon, spandex and elastic, the bra is part of an exclusive 'Kindly' range of sustainable lingerie which also includes thongs, hipsters and boyshorts.
Available both in-store and online, and priced at US$11 to US$14, Walmart says the Kindly range is part of its mission to make sustainability more accessible to consumers.
