DHAKA – Investment organisation the Good Fashion Fund (GFF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) to help improve the environmental and social sustainability of the country’s ready-made garment sector.
The partnership was confirmed at a virtual ceremony, reports the Dhaka Tribune, at which both GFF director Bob Assenberg and BGMEA president Faruque Hassan were present.
Assenberg said: “We are committed to driving a positive change and good fashion practice in the apparel sector in Bangladesh and look forward to working with forward-looking SMEs in the country.”
