LONDON – London’s Oxford Street will launch a sustainability-oriented awareness campaign next week, in collaboration with a number of leading brands and retailers, in an effort to spotlight more ‘sustainable’ offerings and educate consumers.

The likes of H&M, Nike, Urban Outfitters, Selfridges and John Lewis are partaking, each showcasing the work they’re undertaking to reduce their environmental impact and support the circular economy.

Luciana Magliocco, Oxford Street’s associate director, said: “Together with our brands and partners, we will work towards a re-imagined and more sustainable way of shopping – for our customers and for the planet. Our brands are currently trialling new business models, like offering repair services and rental, and this will pave the way for the future of fashion.”
