BROOKLYN – Madewell, an apparel brand of the J.Crew Group, has bolstered its partnership with resale specialist ThredUp with the launch of their new ‘circular store’ in Brooklyn, New York.  

The pair first forged a relationship in July, with Madewell agreeing to use its partner’s Resale-as-a-Service platform to facilitate the sale of secondhand consumer goods.  

“We are thrilled to partner with ThredUp to unveil this store concept to take the first steps toward creating a blueprint for other retailers to follow as they integrate circularity into their business model,” noted Madewell’s head of sustainability, Liz Hershfield.
