SINGAPORE - Browzwear, a provider of digital solutions for the fashion industry, is to open 3D product development training centres in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Dongguan, China.

The new ‘digi-hubs’ will enable factory staff in these regions to learn about Browzwear’s fabric digitalisation software, which creates 3D simulations and renderings of garments in the design phase to mitigate production waste.

Sharon Lim, the company’s co-founder, said: “The COVID-19 pandemic brought to light many of the inequities in the global apparel supply chain while showcasing the importance of digital transformation for the entire industry. We are incredibly proud to be part of the solution that empowers both businesses and professionals, particularly in regions where the inequities have had an outsized impact.”
