BERLIN – German organisation Yunus Social Business has developed a social procurement manual to spotlight how companies can accelerate their sustainability work by partnering with social enterprises.  

Produced in collaboration with Dutch non-profit Porticus and the World Economic Forum’s COVID Response Alliance for Social Entrepreneurs, the document is described as a “practical guide to integrating social businesses into corporate value chains”.

The authors spoke with social businesses, corporate leaders and intermediaries across industries such as fashion, automotive, construction and electronics to understand their experiences, and has subsequently created a playbook to help others on their journeys.
