ARLINGTON – The Better Buying Institute (BBI) has launched a set of five principles for responsible purchasing which it hopes brands and retailers will adopt and follow.

It says they have been developed from data provided by suppliers engaged with its ratings platform, surveys and roundtables over the last six years.

The five principles focus on fundamental behaviours rooted in resolving the day-to-day challenges which suppliers say they face in dealing with poor buyer practices.
