NEW YORK — Fashion company Ralph Lauren reportedly hopes to have developed technology that will enable its customers to dye their own clothes in its flagship stores by next year.

The project was developed with materials science leader Dow as part of a wider programme to create a sustainable new cotton dyeing system for the entire industry.

Ralph Lauren reportedly believes in-store dyeing could also be a good way of encouraging customers to come back into its shops following coronavirus lockdowns.
